Unchain My Heart

Following the positive response and success of their cover of This Will Be Our Year by The Zombies. The Daydream Club have done it again with Unchain My Heart (Joe Cocker, Ray Charles), changing the feel and arrangement entirely to make it their own. "Whenever we do a cover we always set out to make it sound different to any other version that already exists. We noticed the majority of versions for Unchain My Heart are upbeat and bouncy so we went dark and edgy to emphasise the lyrics."

The track features driving Jungle-Book-esque drums and plenty of the duo's vocals and layered harmonies forming their own choir.
